The imaginary unit (i) is an object featured in Animation vs. Math. It is an imaginary number and also plays a significant role in the episode.

Appearance

i is the square root of −1.

i is the square root of −1.

The imaginary unit appears as a white "i" symbol. It's square root of −1. TSC Head The Second Coming added the imaginary unit to sin(π) then combined it with cos(π) to summon Euler icon Euler's identity.

History

Animation vs. Education

Animation vs. Math

Euler icon Euler's Identity repeatedly uses the item to escape to the imaginary dimension. At one point, TSC threw another i at him, creating the value -1 and nullifying his teleportation effect.

Later on, TSC used a complex number plane that was rolling incredibly rapidly to catch Euler's identity as it went into the imaginary dimension, causing serious damage to the dimension. They barely escaped.

ABTV - All Livestream Bumpers

In one of the bumpers, Euler's identity (without the exponent) shows off some geometry to generate i and move into the ABTV bumper area, forming the "e" of "You're".

Powers & Abilities

Role

When The Second Coming was testing, he made an i, he turned it into Euler's identity (with another i), and have another fight. When The Second Coming lands into the equation area, he makes one of the dots from an i pop off.
